Do you want to talk about this cocaine? – @SoberMovement
Um, no.
I’m very much your typical addict. Me, before you. Where’s mine and can I have some of yours? I did meth and coke to stay up and used liquor to bring me down. I was in complete control of my life, or so I thought.
My wife found my coke and asked if I wanted to talk to her about it. I said, no.. she then said, you’re off the hook. I’ll take care of everything with the kids, you can need to leave. The next day, not because of me but my daughter, I was in rehab.
That was 11 years ago and I’ve been challenged. I’ve dealt with loss. I’ve held my dad up as he passed away. I’ve been through 3 or 4 miss carriages with my wife. We’re still together!
I have a beautiful life because of Alcoholics Anonymous and the 12 steps. My 5 year old and 12 year old keep me accountable and demand amends whenever they feel wronged (which is often lately.. maybe I’m being played?) . And my wife and I celebrated 15 years of marriage a couple of days ago.
This is a picture of me and my daughter
